1 Day 4WD/Fly Cape Leveque & Aboriginal Communities Adventure |

Combine the thrill of a flight with a 4WD road trip for a contrasting experience of Cape Leveque, a remote coastal wilderness area. Included is a visit to Beagle Bay Aboriginal Community and lunch on the beach at Cape Leveque. Arrive home early and reduce the travel time on the rugged Cape Leveque road. Our day journeying along rugged road terrain is broken up with stops to explore cultural and historical aspects of the peninsular, with out first break for morning tea at Beagle Bay Aboriginal Community. View an exquisite Pearl Shell Altar in a church built in 1918 by Pallotine Monks. COntinuing further north to the coastal wilderness of Cape Leveque, located at the top of the Dampier Peninsular. We 4WD onto the beach to set up and break for approximately 2 hours for la delicious lunch and free time to swim, snorkel (subject to tides), relax or walk along this pristine stretch of coastline. On our return trip we call into Lombadina Aboriginal Community for afternoon tea. Here we enjoy a guided tour which will provide an insight into community lifestyle today. Subject to availability we also have the opportunity to purchase traditional hand crafted works made from the trochus shell, ebony and pearl shell and view the community church, considered a bush architecture masterpiece. From here we tackle the return trip home arriving in broome at approximately 8.30pm. Fly/4WD Option (CL5) take a scenic flight to Cape Leveque over Buccaneer Archipelago, re-join the group for lunch then 4WD home via Lombadina. 4WD/Fly Option (CL4) take the 4WD via Beagle Bay, after lunch fly home to Broome arriving at approximately 5.30 pm. Note: Due to rough road conditions, this 4WD tour is not suitable for pregnant women, people with back problems or young children, please consult us if you are unsure.
